Frequently Asked Question Based From Clients
How much does a full vehicle wrap typically cost?
The investment for a full vehicle wrap is influenced by several key factors. The size and contours of your vehicle, the quality and type of premium vinyl film selected, and the complexity of your custom design all play a significant role in the final price. We provide personalized, transparent quotes after a detailed consultation to assess your unique vision and vehicle specifics.
How long does the entire wrap process take from start to finish?
For a standard full wrap, the process typically takes 3 to 5 days in our shop. This includes design finalization, material preparation, meticulous surface cleaning, precise installation, and final quality checks. Complex designs or large fleets require additional time, which we outline in your project schedule.
Can you wrap over existing damage or rust on my vehicle?
We strongly recommend repairing any significant damage or rust before wrapping. Vinyl will conform to the surface underneath, meaning dents, deep scratches, and rust will remain visible and can compromise adhesion. We can assist in recommending body shops for necessary repairs prior to wrapping.
How do I maintain and clean my vinyl-wrapped vehicle?
Hand wash your wrap with a mild, wax-free automotive soap and a soft microfiber mitt. Avoid automatic car washes with stiff bristles and high-pressure sprays directly on the edges. Do not use abrasive cleaners, brushes, or solvents. For added protection, a dedicated vinyl wrap sealant can be applied periodically.
What is the main difference between vinyl wrap and PPF?
A vinyl wrap is primarily for changing the vehicle’s color or appearance with printed graphics and offers some paint protection. PPF is a clear or tinted, thick urethane film designed specifically as a sacrificial layer to absorb rock chips and scratches, with self-healing properties, while preserving the original paint color.
Do you offer a warranty on your wrap and PPF installations?
Yes, we offer a strong warranty that covers both materials and our installation workmanship. The vinyl and PPF materials carry manufacturer warranties (typically 3-10 years depending on the product). Our installation warranty guarantees against peeling, bubbling, or lifting for a specified period.
Can I choose any design or image for my custom wrap?
Virtually yes, but designs must be high-resolution for quality printing. We will review your concept to ensure it is suitable for large-format printing and vehicle contours. Our design team can also help create or adapt artwork to optimize it for a stunning wrap result that works with your vehicle’s lines.
What happens if my wrapped vehicle gets damaged in a small area?
Minor damage often allows for a “spot repair.” We can typically remove and replace a single panel or section of the wrap without redoing the entire vehicle. We keep records of the materials used for your project to ensure a perfect color and finish match for any repairs.
